ABOUT MWA BASKETBALL



Midwest Athletics was founded in 2006 with one goal, “Provide the best run youth basketball events in the country”. Midwest prides itself on running professional well organized events that are designed with the players, parents, and coaches in mind.



By bringing professional management and an operational focus to a historically disorganized marketplace, Midwest Athletics has quickly become the most reliable and preferred AAU tournament provider in Michigan.



In 2007/08, Midwest produced 10 successful AAU tournaments with 48 clubs involving 154 teams from Michigan and Canada.



In 2008/09, Midwest produced 17 tournaments with over 22o teams. Midwest also broaden its footprint to include the AAU sanctioned Detroit Spring and Summer leagues.

We look forward to seeing new faces at our events this year and to welcoming back the returning clubs, teams, and players from last season. If our events aren’t exceeding your expectations please let us know. We are dedicated to creating outstanding basketball opportunities that promote the game and improve the playing experience.
